Derechos constitucionales de la naturaleza: Casos pendientes ante la Corte Constiucional del Ecuador
On May 10, 2023, the Center for Democratic and Environmental Rights (CDER) and the Universidad de Guayaquil Faculty of Law hosted this webinar.
Constitutional Law Professors Sandra Tapia and Roberto Gómez, CDER’s Ecuador Attorney Hugo Echeverria, and Leonel Fuentes served as presenters. They addressed the rights of nature in the Constitution, as well as constitutional jurisprudence on the rights of nature. The webinar focused on three pending cases at Ecuador’s Constitutional Court: the River Dulcepamba, River Piatúa, and Nangaritza Forest cases. This webinar can be found HERE and is in Espanol.
