This summit is designed for non-partisan activists and experts to come together, inspired by nature and empowered by imagination. The goal is to redefine our relationship with the planet Earth from a variety of thought specialties and birth ideas that lead to collaborative and systemic change.

Chuck O’Neal of the CDER Campaign Team will be presenting “Part I-Let the Rivers Run: Protecting our Right to Clean Water”, and those interested in this exciting discussion should click the link to join HERE. This presentation will explore the history and background of the landmark rights of nature lawsuit taking place in Orange County, FL.

Thomas Linzey, CDER’s Senior Legal Counsel, will be presenting “Part II: Let the River Run: Creating Rights of Nature Laws in your Community”. Thomas will be providing a primer on the community rights movement, focusing on its philosophies and how this movement of nonviolent advocacy via municipal lawmaking is being used currently, with a focus on Florida.
