Tammy Belinsky

Tammy Belinsky practices environmental law in Virginia, and her legal practice is informed by her undergraduate and graduate education in public health, and environmental science and engineering, and by her prior career as an environmental regulator for the Commonwealth of Virginia. She believes that her professional experiences demonstrate the need to recognize and respect the rights of nature, and her sensibilities have been rooted in that recognition since her service as a teenage volunteer in the National Park Service. Tammy is honored to advise the Center for Democratic and Environmental Rights as it works to drive community rights and the rights of nature into the law.
