Ed Wells, Ph. D.

Dr. Edward Wells is a professor of Environmental Studies at Wilson College. He has taught there for 23 years. Prior to that, he taught at Bowling Green State University for 10 years (during and after graduate school). After getting his MA (Philosophy) and Ph.D. (American Culture Studies) at Bowling Green State University, he continued auditing environmental law classes for ten summers at the Vermont Law School. He co-authored several books and labs. His areas of research and teaching interests are environmental law, climate change, and environmental science. He lives with his wife, Laura Byers-Wells in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
