The Center for Democratic and Environmental Rights (CDER) hosts its monthly “Recent Developments on the Rights of Nature” video conference. This one hour, free webinar will cover the most recent international and domestic (U.S.) developments in the Rights of Nature field, and provide an opportunity for attendees to delve deeper into the concept of legally enforceable rights of ecosystems and nature.

Led by Mari Margil, CDER’s Executive Director, and Thomas Linzey, CDER’s Senior Counsel, this monthly webinar will feature a summary of recent work around the globe advancing rights of nature concepts, and will feature time for questions and discussions about this topic.

Facilitators // The host for these calls is the Center for Democratic and Environmental Rights (CDER), an organization committed to building a global movement for the rights of nature. Mari Margil and Thomas Linzey are the founders of CDER, and have worked with national, state, local, and tribal governments to draft and adopt laws recognizing the rights of ecosystems and nature.
